DTOcean "Supply Chain and Cost Reduction" at OEE 2015

Henry Jeffries presented DTOcean in the session "Cost Reduction: A Supply Chain Story"

Deploying arrays and achieving scale will kick-start virtuous circles of cost reduction, access to finance and bigger project pipelines. At this stage of development, collaboration all along the value chain is needed to access support and solve problems. This session looked at some of the technologies and products which will be needed to risk reduction and, ultimately, LCOE reductions in ocean energy projects. Our panel of experts focused their minds on an optimal strategy for supply chain development: identifying barriers to progress, opportunities for innovation and collaboration, and their own strategy for taking the sector forward.
Henry Jeffrey of the University of Edinburgh presented the DTOcean work on supply chain and cost reduction.
